Storage & Slipway

Mears Boat Builders own a private slipway accessing the River Axe north of the two bridges. It is usable for about 2 hours each side of high tide and requires a 4x4 for launching because it is steep.
We also offer summer and winter storage on hard standing with electric, water and coffee available! We have accommodated boats up to a Cygnus GM33, and currently have a Miller Fife 31 foot Scottish fishing boat in for long term restoration amongst many smaller craft. All boat owners must have their own insurance policy.
